Godfrey Munialo is a Nairobi based litungu player, a seven stringed instrument native to the area of Western Kenya around Kakamega town.

This is a recording of four tunes of Godfrey playing live. The titles of the songs are as yet unknown as he has fallen out of contact. This information will be updated when it becomes available. Until them, enjoy Godfrey's excellent sounds.

This album is a true gem for anyone who loves Taureg guitar. I can't believe this is one of the forerunners for the genre, but upon listening it's not a surprise. The complete production is beautiful. The vocals are really excellent, but my favorite aspect is the talent on the guitar, so intriguing & expertly composed ©ough©ool
